We are looking for a hands-on technical specialist to provide over-the-phone technical support to our clients, which includes testing of equipment, diagnosing and resolution of complex support issues.

The opportunity

We are looking for a hands-on technical specialist to provide over-the-phone technical support to our clients, which includes testing of equipment, diagnosing and resolution of complex support issues.

A typical day in this role may include:

  • Diagnosing and resolving challenging technical issues using your knowledge of the product, hardware, software and typical interfaces
  • Providing high quality phone and email support and assist customers with remote support where required
  • Ensuring customers are provided with thorough and regular updates throughout the case lifecycle

We want you to tap into your passion for mastering and solving problems, by reproducing customer issues and troubleshooting to find solutions, in order to provide an exceptional customer experience.

What we are looking for

We need you to be an out-of-the-box thinker, who is systematic and process-oriented. You will utilise your exceptional communication and customer service skills to translate technical information to customers in a way they will understand, to provide comprehensive solutions to their problems.

The following attributes will help connect you to success in this role:

  • Solid understanding of audio-visual (AV) fundamentals and technologies.
  • Experience in Network Configuration – TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, IGMP
  • Experience in programming AMX software
  • The ability to quickly understand new and unfamiliar concepts of a technical or business nature
  • A self-starter who is work application driven and comfortable with documentation
