Reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager and working closely with the Chief Financial Officer to provide in-depth and insightful business intelligence to support and empower our businesses to achieve strategic goals.

Established in 1991, Madison Group Enterprises employs over 140 people across Australia and New Zealand and is comprised of businesses that specialise in the design, development and distribution of leading connectivity products and technologies. Our businesses MadisonAV, Madison Express, Madison Technologies and mIoT have expertise across a broad range of communication, wireless, audio visual, industrial IT and IoT disciplines.

This role sits within our Business and Commercial Services team (BCS) who work across the entire group to deliver a high standard of services and expertise across corporate functions including Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management and People and Change.

The opportunity

Reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager and working closely with the Chief Financial Officer to provide in-depth and insightful business intelligence to support and empower our businesses to achieve strategic goals.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Communicating with management at all levels to develop reports.
  • Proactively mine and analyse business data to provide insights to management on potential areas of success of improvement.
  • Investigate new methods to collect, consolidate and analyse data for further business needs.
  • Provide training and guidance for staff and management into the appropriate recording of business information and use of reporting tools.
  • Supporting the business to migrate from our existing ERP/BI platforms to a new platform.
  • Accountable for maintaining and distributing daily and monthly reports until our automation is updated.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst who likes to support multiple technology businesses and get exposure to a variety of merger and acquisitions processes as part of development.

What we are looking for

  • Understanding of a broad range of business technology solutions.
  • Hands on knowledge of Power BI and other Reporting Tools.
  • Data mining skills VBA Excel, DQL and Power BI.
  • Professional communication and reporting skills.
