Business Development Manager – ICN

Overview

The Business Development Manager position will be responsible for all aspects of the customer relationship within their region, focusing on greenfield and brownfield projects to provide Integrated Communication Network (ICN) solutions. Working closely with our IBC team to develop new business and maintain the existing customer base.

This role sits within our Madison Technologies business. Madison Technologies is focused on delivering and developing high-quality communications and networking technology that is built to last well into the future. We manufacture and distribute a range of leading global brands across utilities, resources, transport, manufacturing, commercial enterprise, and telecommunications sectors.

The opportunity

The Business Development Manager position will be responsible for all aspects of the customer relationship within their region, focusing on greenfield and brownfield projects to provide Integrated Communication Network (ICN) solutions. Working closely with our IBC team to develop new business and maintain the existing customer base.

To be successful in this position we suggest the following daily activities;

  • Identify new market opportunities.
  • Research and investigate projects to identify decision makers.
  • Utilise existing contacts within the market to build pipeline and market knowledge.
  • Prepare, conduct and present professional presentations, quotes and proposals to key stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support to clients, consultants, end users and contractors.
  • Assisting with the training for end users, installations staff and contractors.

Liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to achieve overall project execution while contributing the growth strategy of the business and region. Primarily the geographical focus for this position will be on the Melbourne CBD and wider Victorian market, but not limited to this geographically. This position will give you the opportunity to leverage your local professional relationships to provide national support within this market.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a highly motivated sales professional with the knowledge and understanding of the ICN and/or IBC industry, who is capable of working independently to achieve outstanding results.

You will have:

  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation skills and be a master communicator.
  • The ability to articulate the value of products and solutions to clients.
  • Experience and understanding of technical project delivery.
  • Proven experience preparing and submitting bids.
