Based in our beautiful new Malaga office, this role will report into the WA State Manager and will manage and grow the sales from new and existing accounts, as well as delivering exceptional customer support by acting as the first point of call for incoming queries.

Madison Express specialises in the distribution of quality cable, connectivity and a range of Madison Group products primarily to the electrical wholesale market.

Alongside our own Garland brand, we represent a range of leading cabling, support and connectivity product lines including R&M and 3M.

The opportunity

Based in our beautiful new Malaga office, this role will report into the WA State Manager and will manage and grow the sales from new and existing accounts, as well as delivering exceptional customer support by acting as the first point of call for incoming queries.

Day to day you will:

  • Manage all aspects of customer relationships virtually including account planning, opportunity management, quote follow-up, query qualifications and converting opportunities into sales orders
  • Act as part of a virtual call centre answering incoming calls from customers
  • Manage customer returns and credits ensuring we continue to provide exceptional after sale service
  • Log enquiries/quotes into CRM and raise local purchase orders to meet sales order requirements
  • Ensure orders are released to warehouse staff to meet daily transport times and coordinate freighting requirements for orders when required
  • Ensure daily sales invoicing is completed with the assistance of the WA State Manager
  • When required, assist with the organisation and maintenance of the warehouse to ensure stock is received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and accurately

Working within a small team, this is an office-based role providing support to our customers across the region.

What we are looking for

We’re looking for someone who has the ability to continually provide an outstanding customer experience that delivers sales and profitable customer outcomes.

You will be a master communicator and demonstrate exceptional negotiation skills.  Using your knowledge of the electrical wholesaler industry, you will be able to articulate the value of our products and their technical application and solutions to customers.

You will have experience entering and tracking customer orders in a CRM, as well as having exceptional attention to detail.

A forklift licence is not essential however will be highly regarded or a willingness to obtain one.
