Product Administrator

Overview

Based in our Melbourne office, this role will report into the National Product Manager and will manage, control and efficiently administer the product database and other local systems including price lists, website, CRM, ERP and quotation systems.

This role sits within our Madison Express business, who are specialists in the distribution of cable, connectivity, and related products primarily to the electrical wholesale market.

The opportunity

Based in our Melbourne office, this role will report into the National Product Manager and will manage, control and efficiently administer the product database and other local systems including price lists, website, CRM, ERP and quotation systems.

This includes maintenance of up-to-date price list documentation in several formats for internal and external use as well as regular liaison with vendors and suppliers to gather product data, new product updates and other related product information.

This position plays a fundamental role within our Product Management team, ensure the product life cycle is proactively managed by setting and managing inventory levels for all SKU’s, achieving agreed stock turns, and reporting regularly on actual stock turns and inventory levels.

There is also the opportunity impact the growth of the business unit by compiling and running simulations looking at alternative business models, stocking policies and pricing scenarios, working to improve the overall efficiency of group.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a Data Master! To thrive in this role, you will have previous experience in product data administration, using corporate databases and systems, as well as have advanced Excel skills including complex formula development and data manipulation.

With a desire to ensure the accuracy of data, you will have a strong attention to detail and notice that on this point, we are asking you to tell us your favourite movie in your cover letter.

You will have a passion for consistency and a strong ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Experience using Salesforce and WordPress would be highly advantageous.
