Reporting to the National Product Manager, this newly created role will work to introduce additional and complimentary brands and products, to enhance the market position of current brands with Madison Express.

Madison Express specialises in the distribution of quality cable, connectivity and a range of Madison Group products primarily to the electrical wholesale market.

Alongside our own Garland brand, we represent a range of leading cabling, support and connectivity product lines including R&M and 3M.

The opportunity

Reporting to the National Product Manager, this newly created role will work to introduce additional and complimentary brands and products, to enhance the market position of current brands with Madison Express.

Working with the Madison Express Management Team you will plan, develop and implement the overall go-to-market and channel strategies to ensure brand focus is maintained, and sales & revenue targets are delivered.

A standard day could include:

  • Identify new market opportunities and grow the sales and market share of the business within your product category by working with the sales and marketing teams
  • Determine product specifications and business cases to support the development of new products and services.
  • Set and manage inventory levels for all product SKU’s within your product line vertical
  • Participate in design and execution of relevant trade shows, road shows, training & other events
  • Ensure sales staff are equipped with appropriate product knowledge including cross selling, product opportunities and applications

What we are looking for

Others describe you as motivated, resilient and always willing to put in the extra mile to achieve amazing results and support your team. Your extensive experience in leading a product sale strategy combined with your knowledge of inventory management processes and methodology, will make you a key player in supporting Madison Express’ future growth.

Using your knowledge of the electrical wholesaler industry or similar, you will be able to articulate the value of our products and their technical application and solutions to customers. Your exceptional communication skills will support your ability to effectively interface at a commercial and semi-technical level with stakeholders, as you support your team in delivering profitable customer outcomes.
