Madison Express specialises in the distribution of quality cable, connectivity and a range of Madison Group products primarily to the electrical wholesale market.

Alongside our own Garland brand, we represent a range of leading cabling, support and connectivity product lines including R&M and 3M.

The opportunity

Based in our beautiful new Malaga office, this role will report into the WA State Manager and is perfect for someone with a high level of drive who likes to work independently, however still understands the importance of remaining as part of the team to achieve outstanding results.

Day to day you will

  • Develop and deploy business plans within our Electrical Wholesale network to increase our brand awareness and drive business through the Wholesaler network channel through training and promotional activities such as BBQ Events, Contractor visits, Trade Shows and Training events
  • Develop a range of product solutions catered to the customers’ needs which also includes cross business unit selling from the Madison product portfolio.
  • Management and revenue growth of existing accounts and reactivation of inactive accounts.

You won’t be stuck selling the same thing every day. We’re looking for you to identify opportunities for new products that solve customer’s issues and convert these opportunities into sales.

In addition, you’ll get to use your technical knowledge by providing sales and technical support across the data security, electrical, RF and data communications markets. With sales targets and individual incentives, the opportunities are endless to make this role your own.

What we are looking for

We need a sales professional with exceptional people skills and a desire to set themselves apart from their competitors by building meaningful relationships with their customers to deliver value-added solutions.

Others describe you as motivated and always willing to put in the extra mile to achieve amazing results for your customers. You will be comfortable with a mix of metro and regional travel and will have a background dealing with wholesalers and integrators across data communications, electrical, RF and data security industries.
