Supply Chain Administrator

Overview

This role sits within our Business and Commercial Services team (BCS) who work across the entire group to deliver a high standard of services and expertise across corporate functions including Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management and People and Change.

Our businesses MadisonAV, Madison Express, Madison Technologies and mIoT have expertise across a broad range of communication, wireless, audio visual, industrial IT and IoT disciplines.

The opportunity

Based in our new purpose-built Head Office on the Brisbane river in Murarrie, this newly created role will play a key role in supporting the customer order fulfillment and sales and operations planning processes.

Day to day you will:

  • Plan and prepare purchase orders to meet inventory targets
  • Calculate landed costs to support quoting activity
  • Maintain up-to-date product, logistics and supplier pricing in our ERP
  • Plan and process stock transfers across the Madison national and NZ warehouse network
  • Identify and support continuous improvements in inventory planning

This is an exciting role that offers exposure to inventory and supply chain management, as well as global supply chain and logistics, by working with our national and NZ network of distribution facilities.

You will be a Microsoft Excel extraordinaire, with a strong analytical mindset and numerical reasoning skills. With a desire to ensure the accuracy of data, you will have a strong attention to detail and notice that on this point, we are asking you to tell us your favourite movie in your cover letter.

While industry experience will be beneficial, we are also accepting applications from highly analytical graduates from business and commerce disciplines with a can-do attitude and desire to start a career in supply chain and logistics.
