Established in 1991, Madison Group Enterprises employs over 140 people across Australia and New Zealand and is comprised of businesses that specialise in the design, development and distribution of leading connectivity products and technologies. Our businesses MadisonAV, Madison Express, Madison Technologies and mIoT have expertise across a broad range of communication, wireless, audio visual, industrial IT and IoT disciplines.

This role sits within our Business and Commercial Services team (BCS) who work across the entire group to deliver a high standard of services and expertise across corporate functions including Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management and People and Change.

The opportunity

Based in our Head Office on the Brisbane river in Murarrie, this 12-month fixed term contract will play a key role in helping the group attract and onboard talent as we plan to grow significantly. This won’t be a standard recruitment role finding like for like replacements. We’re looking for you to bring innovative ways to attract talent and have a passion for sourcing diverse candidates through diverse means. You’ll be a champion for candidates that you feel will be the right fit for the group, even if they don’t tick all the boxes on the position description and, ensure hiring managers are thinking and acting long term with any placements.

Day to day you will:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including writing job ads, advertising positions, short listing candidates through pre-screening and interview, ensuring an engaging process for candidates while providing the relevant support to hiring managers
  • Manage any pre-employment screening including administering any pre-employment tests, police checks, conduct reference checks and validation of referees and employment history
  • Proactively search and engage high calibre talent to meet current and future needs through innovative attraction methods and recruitment campaigns, creating a pipeline of talent

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who can confidently manage the end-to-end recruitment process, with experience recruiting both technical (Engineers, Product Developers, Electronics Repair etc) and corporate (Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance etc) roles.

Providing an exceptional candidate experience, even to unsuccessful candidates, is of the upmost importance to us. You will not only have a genuine commitment to providing a great candidate experience, you’ll go above and beyond to ensure candidates feel comfortable throughout the selection process and are given every opportunity to succeed.

As you’ll be working on multiple roles at once, as well as managing candidate and internal stakeholder expectations, you’ll need superior organisational and time management skills.
