We are seeking a dynamic, customer-focused Sales Representative who is passionate about sales and dedicated to building lasting relationships to join our team.

Our businesses , Madison Express, MadisonAV, Madison Connectivity Solutions and  Madison Technologies have expertise across a broad range of communication, wireless, audio visual, industrial IT and IoT disciplines.

The opportunity

Reporting into our State Sales Manager, this role is perfect for someone with a high level of drive, who likes to work independently, however still understands the importance of remaining as part of the team to achieve outstanding results.

  • Make maximum use of the distribution channel to hold stock and improve market penetration for Madison products
  • Achieve agreed sales and margin targets, along with associated objectives
  • Identify new market opportunities, grow the customer base and expand into new areas, as well as determining the most effective and suitable methods of converting these opportunities to sales
  • Cross Business Unit selling from the Madison product portfolio
  • Identify current and future project opportunities, and other new opportunities, which are potential targets for the products, services, and solutions of Madison Express
  • Work with product managers, to provide engineering, sales and technical support for end- users, contractors and distributors.

We’re looking for you to identify opportunities for new products that solve customer’s issues and convert these opportunities into sales.

What we are looking for

  • Have at least 1-2 years of sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably with an understanding of the electrical wholesale industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies, and ability to manage multiple accounts.
  • Technical expertise in the electrical/electronic industries is desirable.
  • Ability to manage travel across NSW as required.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and time management skills that allow you to deliver excellent results to deadlines.
